While some of our contributors appreciate knowing each time an image is sold or is approved and goes live on FreeDigitalPhotos.net, others may prefer not to receive these notifications. Therefore we have adapted our system to give you the option.

When you log in to the site and go to the new ‘Email preferences’ link, you will find two new options available to you:

  • Send me notification of APPROVED uploads
  • Send me notification of image sales

This is how they will appear:

If you want to continue receiving emails each time an image is approved then ’Send me notification of APPROVED uploads’ should be ticked. If you want to know every time an image is sold then tick the ‘Send me notification of image sales’ option.

Both options will be ticked by default, as this is how the system currently works. However you’re welcome to amend your status if you decide not to receive these emails.

Please note that you will continue to receive a message each time an image is rejected, regardless of what other options you select.
